Worked fares are day-time ride fares from the published K-GO rate card (rounded up to the whole rupee). Your exact quote — the ride fare plus the K-GO booking fee — is shown in the app before you confirm, and night rides (10 PM–6 AM) use the vehicle's night multiplier shown in the full rate card below.

Fare transparency

Ride fare + K-GO booking fee = total you pay

That is the whole formula. Customers pay a small fixed K-GO booking fee per ride — a flat rupee amount set by the vehicle and the type of ride, never a percentage of the fare. It is shown as its own line before you confirm and printed on your invoice. It is K-GO's only income from a ride: drivers pay zero commission and keep 100% of the ride fare.

The whole ride fare belongs to your driver; the booking fee is the only part that goes to K-GO. You pay the driver directly by UPI or cash; K-GO does not take your payment.

How your total is built

  1. Ride fare. Base fare for the included kilometres, then a per-km rate up to 12 km and a lower per-km rate beyond 12 km: fare = base + (km beyond the included km, up to 12 km) × per-km rate + (km beyond 12) × reduced rate. There is no per-minute charge, the minimum fare is never undercut, and every fare is rounded up to the whole rupee. No surge multiplier is in use — demand pricing is fixed at 1.0.
  2. Night rides. Between 10 PM and 6 AM the ride fare is multiplied by the vehicle's own night multiplier, shown in the rate card — there is no single flat night rate.
  3. K-GO booking fee. Paid by you, on top of the ride fare — a fixed amount per ride from the booking-fee table (₹5 for a Bike up to ₹20 for an SUV on a normal ride). It is not a percentage and it does not grow with distance. You hand it to the driver together with the fare; K-GO then recovers it from the driver's K-GO wallet. K-GO takes no commission from the driver.
  4. Scheduled rides. Add ₹2 per km to the ride fare, and the scheduled-ride booking fee applies instead of the normal one. Both are in the quote you confirm.
  5. You pay the driver. K-GO does not take your payment. At the end of the ride you pay the driver directly by UPI or cash, tap “I have paid”, and the driver confirms.

Minimum fare equals the base fare. Night × applies to the ride fare from 10 PM to 6 AM. There is no per-minute charge, scheduled rides add ₹2 per km, and fares round up to the whole rupee. Rates are K-GO's Hyderabad fare table as published in its business rules (final model, 2026-09-21). If a rate changes, this page and the app change together — the app always shows the server's figure.

Master Pool is a shared ride on Auto and Cab (never Bike), for up to three passengers. The trip is priced as one journey: one base fare, and the per-km rates above apply across the whole distance. For each extra passenger on board, that stretch costs ₹3 more per kilometre, and the riders sharing it split the stretch between them — so the person who booked the ride always pays less than riding alone, and the driver always earns more. Every joiner is approved by the rider who booked the ride and by the driver; nobody is added automatically. The rider who booked the ride pays the driver for the whole trip, and the co-riders pay their contribution to that rider — never to the driver. In a Master Pool that rider pays no booking fee and each co-rider pays the amount shown; in a scheduled pool every participant pays the amount shown.

Safety

Your safety is our utmost priority.

Every ride is PIN-verified, tracked live and shareable. Emergency help is one tap away — no menu, no contact picker. Here is exactly what happens when you press SOS, and what still depends on outside configuration.

  1. An incident is opened — onceTen frantic taps create one incident, not ten. If your phone is offline, the SOS is queued and sent within seconds of reconnecting.
  2. K-GO operations are alertedThe admin portal lights up with your ride, your live position and a secure tracking link; an alert e-mail goes to the operations inbox.
  3. Your guardian gets a tracking linkThe emergency contact saved in your profile is sent the link through a chain of channels — WhatsApp, SMS, then a push notification if they use K-GO.
  4. You see the truth on screenThe SOS sheet shows each channel as sent, delivered (only with proof), pending or failed — with a Retry button. Dial-108 and dial-100 are one tap away.

Live ride tracking & trip sharing

Your driver's position streams to your map from acceptance to drop. One tap shares a private link — driver, vehicle, plate, route and live position — that stops working when the ride ends.

The code path is complete; sending a real message to a non-K-GO phone requires K-GO's WhatsApp Business Platform registration and SMS provider credentials, which are in progress. The app never shows “delivered” without evidence.

A hard deceleration opens a 10-second “I'm safe” window on both rider and driver phones; if it lapses, an SOS is raised automatically. Emergency-service integrations (ambulance workflow) are being configured — until then, operations are alerted and dial-108 / dial-100 are one tap away.

Start PIN and identity checks

Available

No ride starts without the rider's 4-digit PIN. Every ride action is tied to the signed-in account, never to an ID typed into a request.

For drivers

Zero commission. You keep 100% of the ride fare.

K-GO never holds your fare money. The customer pays you the ride fare plus a small fixed K-GO booking fee, directly. K-GO then recovers only that booking fee from your prepaid K-GO wallet — itemised on your screen. No commission, and no daily or monthly fees.

A shift, step by step

  1. Go onlineOne switch. The app shows your wallet balance and today's earnings.
  2. Receive ride offersEach offer is a row: pickup distance, trip km, route, CUSTOMER PAYS ₹X, and a countdown set by the server. Several offers can arrive at once; each has its own timer.
  3. Review and acceptAccepting one ride clears your other offers. You can't be double-booked on instant rides — the server refuses it.
  4. Navigate to the customerOpen navigation, call or chat with the rider.
  5. Start the ride with the PINEnter the rider's 4-digit PIN. Your screen shows You receive (estimated), Customer pays and each deduction that applies.
  6. Complete and collectEnd the trip; the collection screen shows the exact amount to collect. The rider marks paid, you confirm.

Late-cancel and no-show penalties

Available

Penalties apply to drivers who cancel after the grace window or fail to show for a scheduled ride. The amounts and windows are configuration values the app reads from the server, so they are not printed here.

There is nothing to pay out — you collected the fare yourself. On a ride, the only money movement K-GO makes is the itemised booking-fee deduction from your K-GO wallet.

Where the app stands today

K-GO is an Android app in pre-launch testing in Hyderabad. It is not yet on Google Play, there is no iOS app, and we don't show store badges for listings that don't exist. The current Android test build can be downloaded directly from this page; early-access riders and drivers get onboarding support over e-mail or WhatsApp.

Questions people ask

Can the fare change after I book?

The quote you confirm is the maximum for the ride fare and the K-GO booking fee. The booking fee is a fixed amount for your vehicle and ride type, whichever driver accepts. There is no surge pricing. The one addition is a toll: when your route uses a toll road, the app tells you before you book. For a Cab the toll is shown in the quote when a reliable amount is available; for an Auto your driver enters the amount actually paid at the plaza and it is added to the final fare. A toll is passed through at cost — K-GO adds no fee or commission on it.

Is there a cancellation charge for riders?

Before a driver is assigned you can always cancel free. After assignment the app shows a short cancellation window set by the server; the current rules charge riders nothing, and the app tells you explicitly whether any penalty applied.

How do I pay?

Directly to the driver — UPI (the driver's UPI ID is shown), or cash. Then tap “I have paid”; the driver confirms and your invoice is generated from the settled figures.

Does the driver see what I'm paying?

Yes — the same number. Drivers see “Customer pays ₹X” on the offer, during the ride and on the collection screen.

What does a shared tracking link show?

The driver's name, vehicle and plate, the pickup and drop points, and the vehicle's live position — on this website, without an account. Links stop working when the ride ends; SOS tracking links expire after 24 hours.

Which cities?

Hyderabad only, in pre-launch testing. Expansion is not announced.

Is food delivery part of K-GO?

No. K-GO is a ride platform. Earlier versions of this website described a food product; it is not part of the current product and nothing on this site should be read as offering it.
